Björn Einarsson is an Icelandic tour guide who has spent years running groups down the same coast this site writes about. Everything published here passes through him.
Who Björn is
Björn has guided professionally in Iceland since 2020. Since 2022 his work has centered on the South Coast, taking international visitors from Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss to the Sólheimajökull glacier, Reynisfjara and Vík. By his own count he has hosted more than 1,000 travelers on Icelandic routes.
He is a local with deep roots here. The way the wind funnels through the gorge at Gljúfrabúi, which pullout floods when the meltwater rises, the exact line on Reynisfjara where a calm sea can still reach you: this is his daily material, not a research topic. His days out are known for steady pacing, an eye on safety, and making Iceland's weather and geology make sense to people seeing it for the first time.
What Björn does for this site
He is the reviewer, not the seller. The tour featured here is run by its real operator, Your Day Tours, and booked on its official Viator listing. Björn does not lead that departure. What he does is check what we publish: inclusions, duration, group size, pickup logistics and cancellation terms against the live listing, and route and safety facts against primary sources like safetravel.is, road.is and vedur.is, as of each page's publish date.
How this site earns its keep
